When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope, and transformation in a child and in a community.

Charger Wish Week

Jan. 29th - Feb. 2nd

Every year CSH spends a week to help make a life-changing wish come true by raising money for a child with a critical illness through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A wish unites neighbors, friends and entire community in life-changing experiences.

This year, we are supporting 7 year old Lily, who is fighting leukemia. Chatfield students and staff have many activities and fundraisers planned to help raise enough money to send Lily and her family to Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

When a wish comes true, it creates strength, hope, and transformation in a child and in a community.

News from the Art Department

We're excited to bring you the latest news from our vibrant art department! In December, we hosted our annual Empty Bowls event, a wonderful occasion that not only showcased the artistic talents of our community but also allowed us to make a meaningful impact on those in need.

At the heart of the event was our commitment to both creativity and compassion. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we are thrilled to announce that we successfully fundraised $300 during the Empty Bowls event. We donated the funds to the food pantry at Lumberg Elementary School. Lumberg Elementary is our valued partner school for the Multicultural Alliance, and this donation will directly support their efforts in ensuring that every student has access to nutritious meals. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to the success of the Empty Bowls event. Your enthusiasm and generosity have made a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate, and we look forward to our empty bowls event next school year!

Please join us in congratulating Sadie Woodyard, Miles Morales, and Mac Hardesty for their exceptional contributions to the world of art. Their unique perspectives and creative expressions have earned them the well-deserved recognition as our featured artists of the month. To view their artwork we invite you to explore our online gallery on our website: CSHS Artists of the Month. The gallery showcases the diverse and inspiring works of Sadie, Miles, and Mac, providing a glimpse into the talent that thrives within our community.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates from the art department

and thank you for being a part of our creative and compassionate community.
